Improving the dimensional accuracy of micro parts 3D printed with projection-based continuous vat photopolymerization using a model-based grayscale optimization method

Micro-scale additive manufacturing has seen significant growth over the past years, where improving accuracy of complex micro-scale geometries is as an important challenge. Using grayscale images rather than black and white during production effective method to improve fabrication quality. This paper presents a model-based optimization for dimensional parts using voxel-based dynamic continuous 3D printing. A detailed solidification model been developed used estimate curing dynamics resin in The irradiance light beam projected each pixel influences larger volume on targeted voxel. proposed optimizes considering distribution from all closely related pixels maintain micro part. results this have applied printing part show that optimized areas with overcuring significantly. It shown number overcured voxels was reduced by 24.7% compared original images. Actual our experimental setup confirm improvements precision method.
